Morning Affirmations for a Bad B*** Kind of Day (Save These For Future Use!)

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’ve been hearing about “positive affirmations” for a while. And let me be the first to admit that I definitely shrugged them off in the beginning… how can speaking about positive change lead to it? I felt like it was a “woo woo” type brainwashing.. until I saw it working for some of my most trusted friends, mentors, and highly touted authors I trust. I immediately assumed there was some kind of placebo effect taking place, until I decided to try it out for myself.

I shook hands with myself and committed to writing down 5 affirmations each morning for a week. Simple enough.

The crazy part was, after a week of affirmations, I felt different, and I had results. In that one week span, I attracted two new 4-figure clients, and re-subscribed two recurring clients. Of course that could have just been me running business as usual, but I feel certain I could not have seen that level of success if I hadn’t primed myself to be in that state of mind each day.

Starting your morning with positive affirmations is like giving your mindset a head start on success. Words have so much power, and when you speak or think them intentionally, you can reshape your day, your mindset, your view of yourself, and even your long-term goals.

You can also get creative with how you incorporate affirmations throughout the day! Here are sneaky little ways I incorporate affirmations into my day to day life:

  • Beginning the day with affirmations: the morning is one of the most connected times of your day, when you’re most in tune with yourself. Use that time- even if just five minutes of it- to write out your affirmations, or speak them aloud to yourself.

  • Hang up signs, posters, or sticky notes around your office with phrases you love. Even if your subconscious is the only thing picking up on them, I am certain you’re creating a positive impact and foundation for yourself.

  • Turn passwords into affirmations. Think about how often you type in your passwords—why not make them something that motivates and inspires you? Use short, simple phrases that will reiterate your boss-ness.

  • Label phone folders with affirmations. For example, my banking apps folder is labeled “I am wealthy.” My health apps? “I am healthy.” My social apps? “I am connected.” You get the idea.

If you’re looking for inspiration to get started, I hope this blog helps you:

  • Align your thoughts with abundance, growth, and confidence.

  • Stay motivated and grounded, even during tough times.

  • Set the tone for a productive, joyful, and successful day.

Whether you’re a business owner, a creative, or someone striving to crush their goals, these affirmations are for you.

So, grab your coffee, find a quiet spot, and let’s dive into affirmations that can transform your day. Save any that resonate with you!
